Feeling aimless, frustrated, hopeless, burned out—even depressed—as a caregiver?
You’re not alone. Brandon Baxter, Director of Northern AZ Council of Governments and caregiver for his mother, will share how to find your bearings, plan your route, use your tools, and pace yourself on this journey.
About the Speaker:
After 14 years in private sector management, Brandon Baxter found the aging profession in 2010 and hasn’t looked back since. Currently, he is director of NACOGAging (Northern Arizona Council of Governments), where he runs the Family Caregiver Program. He describes his switch from the private to the Social Services sector as “working hard every day to meet people’s wants, to working hard every day to meet people’s needs.” He views caring for his mother as an opportunity to give back, and love her for all the selflessness she showed throughout her life.
